Fall & Spring Field Experiences

Field Experiences at Voyageurs National Park immerse students in the history, science, and unique landscape of this region.

Winter Snowshoe Programs

Bring your students to the Rainy Lake Visitor Center for a day of winter exploration while learning about the history of winter travel, animal tracking, and how to use snowshoes.

Teen Ambassadors

We work directly with communities to bring teens on an overnight camping and padding trip in Voyageurs National Park! They learn about wildlife, conservation & outdoor career paths, and Indigenous astronomy, history, & culture.

Are you coming to visit Voyageurs National Park with your non-profit, camp, school, or youth group? Reach out to us at education@voygaeurs.org! We’d love to connect you to our education programs.

“I think that National Parks are important because they preserve places in nature so that generations to come can still be in touch with their ancestors and the world’s history. They tell stories that otherwise would be bulldozed over or forgotten.”

Funding for this project was provided in part by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources  Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources  (LCCMR).

The Trust Fund is a permanent fund constitutionally established by the citizens of Minnesota to assist in the protection, conservation, preservation, and enhancement of the state’s air, water, land, fish, wildlife, and other natural resources.

This program was made possible by a grant from the National Park Foundation through generous support of partners including Union Pacific Railroad and donors across the country.
