CHEERS TO 50 YEARS
This year, we celebrate and toast to 50 years of Voyageurs National Park, which was found on April 8, 1975. We reflect on a half-century of parkhood and Indigenous peoples that stewarded the land before that. We take in the present day wonders of the park–30 pristine lakes, 655 miles of natural shoreline, the International Dark Sky Park, and so much more. And we look to the future envisioning a park that is protected and accessible for generations. A future that we can only ensure with your help.
TURNING YOUR
PASSION INTO ACTION
As we celebrate and honor 50 years of parkhood, we are reminded that well wishes alone are not enough to protect Voyageurs National Park–or expand its reach. That’s why the Voyageurs Conservancy works tirelessly to preserve the park’s wild habitat and landscapes for future generations–through youth education, land protection, research support, wetland restoration, and environmental efforts like the Dark Skies Initiative.
