This summer, Voyageurs National Park rangers will assist with the staffing and operations of the Orr Travel and Information Center, thanks in part to support from the Landmark Grant provided by Voyageurs National Park Association and the City of Orr, Minnesota.
The Orr Travel Information Center is a great place for families to get travel information, see a North Canoe, and stretch their legs on the Bog Walk. This half-mile long accessible boardwalk is open year-round, providing nature enthusiasts of all ages and abilities with easy access to a wide variety of beautiful wetland scenery. See a spruce bog, ash swamp, cattail marsh, and tamarack swamp. As you stroll, look for carnivorous pitcher plants, purple fringed orchid, otters, muskrats, eagles, osprey, pelicans, and all kinds of other wildlife!
Located on US 53, Orr serves as a central hub to Voyageur country, connecting the communities of Crane Lake, Ash River, Kabetogama, Ranier, and International Falls. In addition to information and the Bog Walk, the center provides picnic shelters, water access for recreational vehicles, and dump station. It is conveniently located at: 4429 Hwy 53, Orr, MN 55771.

June 16 through September 20
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 am to 1:00 pm & 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm
