The Conservancy is excited to join the Women of the Water community for a special day learning and exploring Voyageurs National Park with women who specialize in plant knowledge and identification.
What native and non-native species exist in Northern Minnesota? Join Ranger Jackie LaNew and Education Coordinator Moss Kupper for this Women of the Water event! In this program, we will learn about native and exotic plants in Minnesota, dive into some traditional Indigenous uses for plants, then practice safe and sustainable foraging techniques in Voyageurs National Park.

Women of the Water is a community-wide motor boating club focused on encouraging and supporting one another in a wide range of boating activities with the goal of building confidence and self-sufficiency on the water. All of their trips include socializing with other women, learning boating and navigation skills, and loads of fun! Voyageurs Conservancy is excited to join the WOW community for a special day learning and exploring alongside Ranger Jackie and Education Coordinator, Moss.
