In Memory of Jeff Kantor
Jeffrey Kantor (1954-2023) was passionate about Rainy Lake and the Voyageurs National Park ecosystem.
Jeff was raised in International Falls and returned every summer to the area with Diane and his family. He was a highly regarded chemical engineering professor at Notre Dame and used his knowledge to help all of us better understand the complex dynamics of water flows within Rainy Lake and the Namakan Basin. His photography (featured here) captured the sunsets, wildlife, skies and sparkling waters of Rainy Lake. “Deet was his perfume of choice because he loved sitting by the lake waiting for the perfect shot.”
Thank you for making a gift in his memory.
